This Bathroom Renovation is not only my favorite room in this RV, I think it might be my favorite room in ANY RV I've renovated. I really struggled with the space at first, and it came together so beautifully!
After demoing this ENTIRE room, I started with painting the walls white and then continuing the flooring from the rest of the RV. Then I installed the new shower pan. (All of these items will be linked below.) I used Palisade PVC tile to create the faux tile wall surround in the shower and I love how it came out.
These tiles are basically a "click" install flooring, but for walls! They are 100% waterproof, grout-less, mold and mildew resistant, made in America, and they have a 10 year warranty! They are perfect for RV's and allowed me to create a shower surround that was modern, light weight, and beautiful.
Next I installed the new sink cabinet from IKEA. This is the Hemnes line and has so much more storage, I am so excited to see how much will fit in these drawers! It also comes with a ceramic sink top that is beautiful, easy to clean, and went with the design really well.
Then it was time to add an accent wall. I wanted something subtle and lightweight, so I opted to just create a faux board and battan wall. 4 pieces of 1/4" trim ripped down to 2" were used to create my vertical pieces. Then I used a piece of MDF at the bottom to give the wall some weight and a piece of pine at the top to trim it all out.
I installed our favorite toilet, its a Dometic ceramic RV toilet. It's nice and study and so affordable! I definitely recommend upgrading your toilet to this one! Hung the mirror, installed the sink faucet, and VOILA! Total transformation!

Shower Pan (Just beware when buying this. Ours didn't come with an access panel and the company never answered our calls or emails. NOT Camping World, their distributor.)
Just gorgeous! I continue to grow in amazement at your design skills as well as the quality of your workmanship! Searching now for my 5th to buy and renovate for my full-time home. I will definitely be purchasing your course! One question about the bath tiles, I know you said there was no need for grout, but what stops the water from getting between the tiles? Did you use some sort of cement board on the shower wall behind the tile? Thanks!
I am wanting to trade out the bathroom cabinet for a mirror but am worried about security correctly for travel. can I ask how you secure yours?
