The renovation on this Heartland Bighorn is well underway and this week I finished the living space! This space really goes to show the POWER of PAINT!
After Before
My clients laid this LVP flooring down a few years ago, so all this space really needed was paint and a few upgrades!
I started with sanding and priming all the cabinet boxes and doors. Then I painted everything, including the existing slide trim, with 2 coat of Scuff X paint (color linked below!)
To update the outdated glass doors, I covered them in pole wrap to give them a coastal feel. We replaced the broken ceiling fan with a fandelier! This looks like just an updated light fixture, but there are 4 flan blades inside! This was such a great way to keep the function of a fan but still be able to update the look.
The fireplace got a little update by taking down the gaudy trim pieces and replacing them with simple trim and a stained piece of pine. We added new furniture, including this beautiful powder blue chair and a new rug. We were able to keep the original couches, they just look so much lighter with all the updates!
We also found the BEST and most affordable black out roller shades that I will link below as well!
Below are the links to all the products I used to create this space. (Some links are affiliate links and I get a small kickback for your purchase!)
Rug is from Home Sense and I can't find a similar one to link!
